Safety First
“Safety First” is more than a general philosophy for us. It is a daily way of life. Because we continually work on a variety of industrial sites with ever-changing conditions, we conduct field hazard assessments and safety meetings for all construction personnel at the start of every shift and each job procedure.
CCD has developed a comprehensive health, safety and environmental program (which meets or exceeds all OH&S standards) in conjunction with the Alberta Construction Safety Association and we hold a current Certificate of Recognition in the Partnerships in Health and Safety program. All CCD personnel are certified with all current safety training requirements including OSSA, CSTS, H2S Alive, Confined Space, WHMIS, Breathing Apparatus Fit Testing, Fall Arrest, First Aid, etc. CCD’s WCB Employer Premium Rate has been consistently below industry standards as a direct result of our excellent employee safety record. CCD Technologies Limited is a CanQual, PICS and ISNetWorld approved contractor.
