Concrete Repair/Restoration
CCD Technologies is a full service Concrete Restoration company that is highly skilled in many different types of Repair Methods. Our many years of servicing our Industrial Clients has exposed us to a variety of situations where concrete structures are compromised.
Some common causes of concrete failure in industrial facilities are:
Rebar Corrosion
If rebar is exposed to excess carbon dioxide or chlorides, it will begin to corrode, causing low pH and concrete deterioration. When rebar does not have adequate concrete cover during the original installation, this deterioration will occur very quickly.

Water/Chemicals
Water will erode away concrete over time. Different chemicals can attack the cement binder in concrete and cause quick deterioration. Acidic and Caustic environments can deteriorate concrete in immersion conditions or limited exposure conditions.
Freeze Thaw
If air entrainment is not sufficient the concrete can become saturated with water or chemicals, which expands when it freezes. Air Entrainment was not always found in Concrete Specifications many years ago, thus older structures can suffer significant damage due to this.
